| Hi, Just looking for fellow GNCC racers. New to this site (dig it so far!) and I see a lot of GNC mx and flat track noise... but not much for the cross country series. Anyway... it's the most intense 2 hours you'll ever spend on your machine. Anybody who wants info or to meet up at the races, let me know. If I can tackle this photo posting thing I'll try to attach a couple pics.

| I know that the GNCC actually started down the road, but being from the area I just say rausch creek. Were you there friday morning getting ready for it? I took the day off of work and was riding around. Some guy had a yfz450 and lost some plug on his case. Oil was everywhere. I tried to help him find the part, but it was nowhere to be found. You don't like coal dust???? I have that shit all over me everytime I go out riding!!!! We call them silt pits around here. I was just in shamokin yesterday picking some stuff up, but I've never ridden there. I saw plenty of trails in the hills on my way through though. |

| Yeah... GNCC called it Rausch Creek officially. It carries a whole lot more name recognition than whatever that former coal mine was we raced around. We got there Friday afternoon kinda late.

| I left friday a little after noon. We got there early with our banshees and clogged our air filters from it being dry all morning. I just bought an 05 blaster in september but it's stock except the skids. It's for the girlfriend so it doesn't really need to be done up. Those trails sound like it is everywhere around here. There's always good trails everywhere you go. You got it wrong about the environmental nuts though. They are in full effect here too and always give you crap. There are railroad police riding on 4x4's trying to stop and fine you for being on or crossing the tracks. They don't stand a chance though. I would if it would be worth the effort. Maybe if this diet I'm starting in a little while turns out some good results I will (no jokes please), but I'll probably try a harescramble or 2 at the flying dutchman. That should be a good starting point. |
