i know one of 370's friends has done them before and they are very hard on your quad. anything from bent rims, blown out tires to broke a-arms. i probably wouldn't ever try one. but then again you never know when you gonna get that wild hair up your *ss to do it..

I had a few friends do it at Rausch Creek 2 years ago. The one was on a 2000 banshee and stopped early before he broke something. The other was on a raptor and he got in 8th place or something like that. I don't know if I'd put my baby through that punishment. He didn't care about that craptor because he had a nice 02 banshee sittin at home so he beat the hell out of the raptor.

I raced 2 on my bike, and I said after the last one, the hell with it. The last cource was 7 miles long, and was about 6 miles of 1st gear mud up over the footpegs. I was so dang tired and beat up, and the fourwheelers get the shit beat out of them. I would recommend trying an easy cource once on a dry time of the year, and going from their, my opinion is that they suck. Ohh another thing was I had to shorten my bike back up and put the airbox back on, a lotta work for a race i didn't even like.

my 96 did one hairscramble before i got it. the kid came by on his way home. he had a good list of broke parts. two bent rims and two flat tires (got them 5 mins into the race and rode the rest of the race on front flats) bent nerf bar. bent footpeg, trashed an a arm and a shock. it'll never see anything like that agian. i'm just glad the frame never took a good whack. i wouldn't even put the 87 through that kind of tourture
