GNC In Georgia

Well the GNC will be in GA this weekend. I'm going to be racing B Class. I've never ridden the track, so it should be interesting. One of my friends from work is Tim Farrs Nephew, so hes gonna introduce me, it should be pretty cool. I'll be sure to wear the E2S Shirt when possible. and I'll have my stickers for when I get that podium, lol.

hey, how is rausch creek anyways? is it a pretty hard track? Thats where the 12 hours of atv america is going to be, and I'll hopefully be going up there for it, if i can get a damn team together...

That's October 28th and 29th. There's also the 6 hours of atv america on July 16th. I was never there during it so I'm not sure what track(s) are involved in it. The expert atv track is well beyond my current ability (well the size of my nuts), but the intermediate track is pretty awesome. The woods trails are very tough if you take the expert route. Plenty of damage can be done to your quad on that trail.

They changed the tracks last year so who knows if they'll change them again this year. I'll probably be working as a track marshall during the vintage races this year. We were asked to last year but then my friend's a-arm bent and he didn't want to go anymore because we were given free passes for the rest of the day after the race.

MaineExport has raced the GNCC there and he'll tell you a thing or 2 about how rough it was. If you're going let me know. I'm probably going to go there to watch (I don't want to kill my banshee nor am I in any type of shape for that race) so if you're going I'll have to stop by and see what you're up to.

Here's an update for anyone who gives a damn,
Practice was cancelled today due to rain, they didn't even do tech inspection.

Its more like a Mudcross than a motocross race. since the track is mostly sand, if it stops raining this afternoon it should be decent enough to race on tommorrow. I didn't get any laps in though, hopefully i'll get a couple in the morning before the race...
