ok, now my turn,
well the day before Greg and I were jetting, I got the shee running awesome, so we packed up and head to the rooms for the night. I came the next mornin, fired it up, let it warm up a bit. then i checked the plug, looked a little dark, so I took the pilot down a bit. then i fired it back up and ripped around and it was running like ASS, so I figured i was way too rich all of a sudden, so I went way down in mains (this is also like 20 minutes before the start of the race) then I realize, I don't have my right spark plug boot on!!! so I hurry up and throw the same jet back in and hope for the best and get to the line. Well I find a spot in the line. Well my line finally gets to go, i just it rip, engine was kickin ass, tires, didn't want nothing to do with it. so I didn't get 15 feet until about 5th gear, so I am in the back of the pack, I slipped into the middle of the pack by the second corner, but lucky for me, 3rd corner there was a nice pileup waiting for me. but then I got turned around, once again cause of my badass tires, I couldn't turn, so I threw it into a quick spin and got into the corner, once again, at the back of the pack. hit the first hillclimb, got stuck, so I waved to greg when he went by. ( he was in the starting line behind me, took off 1 minute after I did, probably longer cause of the pileup though) finally I get up the damn hill, I start haulin ass, only to find, another hill, with a waiting line. everyone had to take turns getting stuck, seemed like anyways, I spent a good 30 minutes getting up that hill, between waiting, and trying to actually climb it. I finally get up the hill, make it to the 2 mile mark. and what do ya know, blew my rear right tire, SWEET, so now i got about an inch of ground clearance, so I got stuck about every 3 feet. there was also about 3 or 4 more hillclimbs with waiting lines, pretty crappy track, but I still had fun.

that sounds like hell ,id ask for my entrance fee back and tell the m theyre all a bunch of meth heads for la ying out this ridiculous track like that , what a joke buy yourself some holeshot HD or the new I razors

yeah, it was either stock tires, or MXr4's, so I had to go with the stock tires. but heres some before and after pictures from my camera, more to come from gregs.

Hahah... I like your last pic, Chad... twin birdies... can you tell someone wasn't happy with the race?

Yeah... I can't say enough about how bad this course was. It is normal to have one or two small bottle necks or pile-ups in the first couple miles. I mean... you've got 300 to 400 quads all starting a race within 10 minutes of eachother... there's bound to be a few mishaps. This race, however, was a whole other ball game. In the first 4 miles (before the first checkpoint) there were 4 MAJOR bottlenecks. The hills weren't that steep, and the rocks weren't that bad, but when you've got 5 possible ways to get up a tight wooded hill and only ONE way to get out at the top of that hill... what the hell do you think is gonna happen? Combine all that traffic hitting one spot at the same time with the fact that it's kinda steep, kinda rocky, kinda rutty, and kinda slippery and you're going to have carnage!

The first bottle neck took me more than 20 minutes to work my way through.. attempt after attempt failed because of one rider or another getting in my way. This all led to a slow-motion wheelie rolling my quad right over my head at one point! It just seemed like there were too many technical spots with too few alternatives and no margin for error. That's fine if there's 10 racers on the course... but not 300.

I must say... the night life in McHenry, MD leaves something to be desired as well. We stopped by the Honi Honi bar for a few drinks... "interesting" bar. Amongst all the drinking tourists and locals... was a handful of kids running around in a playground?

oh yeah, just checked my finish, i got 41st!!! WWOOHOO, lol, not bad for running 90% of the race with a flat tire. haha

Hell... not bad considering! Glad to see you made it home alright without someone to help driving. Hope drove most the way home while I caught up on my beauty rest!

yeah it wasn't so bad this time, oh, and I stopped a shop in S. Carolina, picked up 50 bucks worth or m-100 rockets and roman candles, hahaha can't wait

oh and my hand is still pretty swelled, hopefully i didn't bust nothin up in there.
