Default drag racing

hey guys, today I went to the river bottom and did some short sand drag racing, And I guess I did ok, at first I was at the end of the pack, then after a dew runs I was in the middle.

My stock banshee held its own against 450's and other 4 strokes, even with some bashee's with pipes, I would take most all the quads out the hole even some with paddles, but they would pass me up. My trick was I would start out in second gear so I would leave everyone but then going into 3rd they would start passing me up.

it was a real bouncy stretch of sand, you could barely get into 3rd, sometimes 4th.

what do I need to do to get more top end out of this thing?

Thanks

Xavier

are you just revving it and dumping the clutch? or are you slowly letting it out andt aking off normally ? andt heres so many things to get more top end power on a stock shee..i would have the flywheel lightened to let it rev quciker and easier throw some reeds in there and a pipe

your way behind the power curve ... so ... no its not bad for the trans, and yes it is bad for your clutch, and no it wont hurt your motor. So now that we have that coverd ... put pipes and a better flowing air filter on the bitch. ... oh and i eat sock banshees for breakfast ... they dont stand a chance against me ... i beat piped banshees with paddles when all i have are turf tammers all day long ... i could only imagine what i could do with paddles

so realistically, pipes and filters should be my next step. I was thinking Shearer's because there up the street from my house or T5's. I was thinking the double filters for the carbs not the big filter that going in the airbox, is that a good idea?

Thanks
Xavier
