Are the YFZ and the 450 honda Modified?
Cuz my trx had an aftermarket pipe and the engine is ported, but i cant beat the YFZ yamaha.. Note the YFZ has only after market pipe..

Actually the FMF fatty puts out more power than an LRD, fact look it up. And Im not saying he is correct cause it may run like shit but a good running 310 will flat ass smoke a piped banshee. If built right it will smoke a lot of ported banshee's, a 60hp honda will easily run with a 70hp banshee.

Like I said there are a lot of different reasons why one will out run the other. Traction, Jetting, porting on the R, Head design on the R, pipe for both, gearing, etc etc. What pipe did the YFZ have, I suspect if you getting out ahead of him and he's passing you that quick you are way short of the power you should be producing. There are soo many reasons why that is I dont know where to start.

he's not running a 310 he's running a 265.... adn i just thoguht it was funny to see him say he's got a ported and piped 265 and was braggin he'd beat any piped banshee.... big deal haha

i'm a bit more than piped though.... i did some portwork on my shee (200ex 134in 26bd) and have a .030 milled head...

200Ex, fuck that. Way way too pipey for me. A banshee motor with those mods is no comparison with a R motor any smaller than 350 and setup in a similar manner. Thats apples and oranges.

Built true 250's are very close with a YFZ, but should win all things constant.
