Shitty Weekend

Well it started off okay but ended pretty shitty. About 12 of us took the quads, dirtbikes and 2 Rhinos out in the desert a few miles from my house. My mom who alot of you know ended up nose diving her quad into a 7-8 ft. deep by 3 ft. wide ravine at a pretty good rate. The quad instantly stopped against the wall and flung her into the wall and then to the ground. It took us about an hour to get her pulled out and into the back of a Rhino. She rode back there for about 6 miles on shitty trails in massive pain. Got her home and she of course refused to go to the hospital. A couple of hours later she couldn't take the pain and we called an ambulance. They took her to SVRHC and she dislocated her left hip ( which is a full titanium replacement ) and broke 5 ribs. SV couldn't get the hip back in so she was flown to UMC in Tucson Sunday night. They got the hip back in and she is bruised, scraped and sore as hell but in good spirits. I may get to bring her home today. She is ready to ride again.

Also late last night I got a call from my Brother in law in Bishop CA. My sister was thrown from her horse during Mule Days yesterday and landed pretty much on her head. She has really no memory of anything in life and the Dr.'s don't know when her memory will come back. The Cat Scan shows no damage but they said it will take time.

yeah mine sucked also. It rained the whole trip and my friends Shee locked up. Atleast no one got hurt. Hope your sister recovers quickly.

My weekend was great, 4 days @ Pismo but it ended when a truck TBoned one of my friends at Comp Hill.
He got bashed, bruised, broken rib & lucky!

we went to little sahara in oklahoma and my buddy ruined 2 blaster motors, screw came out of the carb and he didnt notice, motors full of sand

Thanks for the thoughts everybody. Looks like I may get to bring mom home today. She decided to stay another day to make sure she was ready to come home. I ordered new rims and tires for her quad over the weekend ( before the accident ) so she's excited about getting them put on this weekend hopefully.
