Memorial Day in Mesick, MI

Alot of things went wrong on our trip, but all together, I think it was a good trip. First, When we left the house to go up, I got pulled over and my girlfriend got a ticket for not wearing a seat belt. Then on the way up at about 11 pm I hit a deer with my van. Luckily it didn't do too much damage to the van so I could still drive it. Finally we get there at midnight and got drunk. the next morning we all went out to do some trail riding. Well I didn't know the trails at all so when I lost my friend that kinda knew the trails, I was just finding my own way threw the trails. Well me and this other guy found a nice sand pit with some nice jumps, had a good time and figured my other friend would be back at camp when we got there. She wasn't. About 10 Minutes after we got back we herd her coming down the trail. She got a ticket from the DNR for riding on a non ORV trail. I felt kinda bad cause she was just folowing our tracks trying to find us. The DNR told her not to ride those trails anymore. well that was the first day there so we didn't want to let that ruin our fun. So we were just a little more careful of which trails we rode on. All together, I think it was a pretty good weekend. Got some good riding in and got drunk around a campfire.
