Douglas Rims vs ITP Rims

So can someone explain what the difference is between the two?
Which is a better rim? Let's hear the good & the bad. I'm in the market right now & need to decide on one.
Both sell same thickness rims too. I'm leaning more towards the ITP's since they come PC'd in black.

Style and Price haha. ITP is always more expensive
due to the name. I buy the Douglas because I like
the large Chrome face. I think ITP is the only company
that PCs the rims black. If so, than looks like its ITP
for you haha.

I actually rarely see Banshee's on ITP's, always on Douglas..

I don't care about the look since It's getting blacked out & can't really tell anyway.
Rob, I'm actually afraid of the nice polished Douglas. Look too good for my Shee.
Don't want to convince myself into the bling side of things. Then I'll have to get matching chrome T5's to go with it

I had the douglas rims, and I moved to ITP. I bent the hell out of those douglas rims. Been doing the same riding on the ITP's and no bends on them yet, after a full year of ridding.

I have the ITP's on my knobbies.. I've ran into some nasty rocks putting good size dents on them.
These new rims will be for my paddles only so I think I'm good with either rim in the sand.

I'd like to hear more discussion on this topic, everyone else running stock or what?

Damn you guys are opposite of me. I have waffled ITP's like they were butter. My Douglas have held up awesome with no bends at all.

I personally like Douglas better

ITP's are a heavy wheel....If your putting dune tires on go with douglas fo sure....
