Default Rim Offsets

I am looking to buy new rims for my quadracer.
Its hard enough to find rims that will fit, because of the unique bolt patterns.

I have found that Douglas make a rim with both 4/130 and 4/110 pattern in the same rim. But it has a 3/5 offset.

Would I want an offset rim? It seems as though most aftermarket rims have this offset.

Certain website have listings for 8 inch wide rims like:
4B/4N
3N/5N
4N/4N
3B/5N

I am really confused by this. I can maby understand that on a 3/5, three inches on the inside/five inches on the outside, and that is the measurement from the outside to the center. But what does N and B mean?

no idea what the B and N means..... and i looked in your sig.... you already have a +4 rear axle, and +2 a arms.... so you have gota ask yourself if you would like to go any wider? stay the same? or make it shorter? its your decision.... im sure you know the benefits of widening your quad... and as far as i know, making a bigger or smaller offset on your quad will not hurt anything....

Thats the problem, I am already wide enough. But I believe these 3/5 offset rims give a wider stance, but thats all that seems to be available in aftermarket.
