Default Works Shocks W/ Resis or Elkas W/O

My budget allows me to buy a set of Works shocks with Resis or Elkas without resis.

I ride dunes 90% of the time, andy opinions on which would be better?

Sorry,

For an 87 LT250. For what it's worth I also plan to add +2 +1 A-arms

okay maybe not on the elka's, since there ressies are connected to teh shock body. but the works can be added on later. the remote resevoir is nothing more then a seperate gas holding tank that is screwed into the regular shock

on these AT steelers the rezzi would just attatch to the fill nossle at the top of the shock.

so models you can others you can't. if it has a remote rezzy (normally connected by braided line) then you can add it on later. in the case of the elka's it would be more difficult sine they are more like a motocross rear shock in that the rezzi is part of the shock body it's self.

the rezzi's are good for racing because you can store more nitrogen and can for the most part keep the oil and nitro seprate. in the non rezzi shock the seperator is a small metal plate with a rubber o-ring vs a rezzi with a shock bladder to do the seperating

i would just reservice the yfz shocks. unless ya have any handling issues with them. any complaints? or just need to be freshened up? normal service life in between rebuild is 20 hours on the track, or 80-120 hours of trail riding

FYI:

I called Elka just a momment ago and they can add a remote resi to their shocks. The cost (for an LT250) is $330-$460 to add the resi depending on the options you choose.
