You need a new spring....And then they can valve it for your riding style also....

for the average trail rider/ duner i would recomend just going up in spring size. it's a cheaper alternative then having someone revalve it for you. and you could do the work yourself with no speciality tools.

the stock spring(combined with valving) on your particular model was set up for a 140 lb rider (5.4kg's)

SESP 891063 EIBACH SHOCK SPRING 6.3kg $109.99 << here's the recomended spring. i use the same manufacturers spring on my yz250 and love it.

there are other methods to bump up the load your shock can handle but i don't think it's something you could do without specialty tools.

so what your saying is it rebounds so quickly?

if that's the case then you either have too light of oil in there to a heavy spring. or you need to increase the shims on the rebounding side so it's slower.

it's the stock banshee shock correct? (has a clicker below the spring?)

where's balla when ya need him? lol i forgot which settings i gave him to run for his shee.

okay here's the breakdown of how the shock system works.

the spring controls the majority of the compression and rebound where as the clickers are liek a fine tuning adjustment.

the clicker on the remote rezzi controls the compression adjustment. or the down stroke.

the clicker below the spring controls the rebound dampning. turn it all the way to one side it will act like a pogo-stick and have a kick back feel (the one your discribing)

turn it all the way to the other side it will rebound like a snail.

my advice is play with the rebound adjustment until you find a happy medium.
