Question painting blaster shock springs?

im gettin my plastics painted and i was wondering if i could paint just the springs on my shocks to match my plastics.

how do you paint them do youi have to take the shocks apart

that was my next question because its not gonna be spray painted(well it is but not out of a can) i dont wont any paint on the strut part i guess im explaining this right lol

i painted mine! pull your shocks apart...you will be much happier with the quality....iv seen it when people try and tape them off....... looks like crap....pull em apart...paint them....and slap it bak together...iv ridden it for a year, no chipping or cracking yet...i used this spray paint called, plasti-coat..... worked great!

cool but i dont understand how you pull them apart and if i pull them apart will i have to get them filled with oil or the gas thats in them and get new seals or what cuz im interested in doing this to my shocks cuz they are chipped
