Powdercoating Springs?

Just bought some used shocks for one of my quads, and the springs had been painted by the former owner to match his bike, which of course would look like hell on mine. Can powdercoating be stressed and stretched in this kind of application, or do I need to use a special paint?

Pretty sure you can powder coate them I think they come powder coated from the Works not sure though. You could just replace the springs.

Mine are powdercoated and yes they come coated from all the companies.

yah you can powdercoat em, im sendin out the 3 back springs off my 3 trikes to get them PC'ed in like a week,i was lookin 'round they make some crazy ass colors for PC, you would swear its paint, they have it where it changes colors and everything

Sweet, thanks guys. My Banshee's yellow/black/grey and the springs were red/black - just wanted to know the best route to go. Yeah, the colors for PC are sweet, been thinking about doing my entire frame and such, but I'd rather put that $350 into horsepower or a new swingarm for now though.

another route that you may want to explore is ebay for shock covers theres so many damn different designs even chrome and carbon fiber covers!! most sets can be had for 30$
