Smile yfz shocks to banshee

alright, I know I'll get killed on the "do a search thing", but I want info on my specific combo. I have a stock suspension banshee that I'm considering putting yfz shocks on. just the shocks no a-arms. my question is, whats the problems i'll run into? ride hight difference? I can get these shocks DIRT cheap! is it worth it or should I save for works or better shocks. I am just a trail/woods rider who drag races buddies once in a while.

Thanks

it will raise the front just a little, but i believe you have to grind a little bit off of the side of the shock on the bottom where it bolts to the a-arm. the stock banshee shock is a little more narrow at the bottom. so you have to make it fit. but you will have more adjustments with out the big price.

yea man if you can get wm cheap do it! i had em on my before the works and loved em, ive even thought of puting back on and puttin the works on my warrior, i had them set as soft as possible with +2 arms and it rode 100 times better than stock, and even with factory arms its not much work

will shocks from any other make work, and if so, are they better than stock? I'm still considering the YFZ ones cause there cheap and I'm on a budget. I have maybe 2-300 to upgrade, I know, it's not a lot.
