| ok my rear shock in my 86 lt250 just went. i dont think anything is wrong with it but it was kinda spongey onyways so i had a shock pump kickin around so i put some air in it and it was nice worked really swell. i kept tabs on the pressure and then today i checked it and its held air but when i want to remove the pump all the oil pissed out the vavle stem in the rezzie got stuck. so to the point is there a way I can recharge it or is it worth sending out to get rebuilt recharged or just get a $425 works shock.

| i think you blew the bladder in the ressivor. if you get it rebuilt to your specifics it should be just as good as a new one. |

| ok sayin that is the problem where can i send it to get fixed in the new england area and for what price or where can i get the parts to do it myself if thats possible

| Ask Kane he live in Maine probably has some good connections on getting shocks done. I know in VT Factory connect does a good job. I think that is there name not sure

| ya i heard of factory connection but i also heard because of them being racing oriented it would cost an arm and a leg.

| factory connection is in nh. i did not know that, just looked it up. and there prices do seem a bit high. i paid 200 for a rebuild, revalve, parts and shipped back. |

| east coast atv does atv work like that, i'm not sure where they are located but check them out online (do a google search, not sure of website) and see if they can help ya out. If not, i know 1 dirracing does that work, but shipping will be close to 40 bucks one way. If you end up going with a rebuild, have the company suit the spring and valving to your weight and riding style. You ought to beef it up if you need to have it done anyway.

| My buddy had his dirt bike done by Factory connect and the shocks on it are sweet. He can hit jumps with hard landings and it just sucks it right up. Not to mention in bumpy trails it does really good. A lot of pro riders use Factory connect I know that so maybe that is why it is so expensive.
