Anybody have a works rear shock

i'm pretty sure that all the shocks from 85-90 have the same mounting and length. that way you won't have to narrow your search for just an 87 shock

I kindof figured that but wasn't to sure all the years it would be the same for. I really don't want to buy one new

unless your stock one is completely unusable, i would say rebuilding/revalving/respringing is going to be the best bet. It has way more adjustments than your going to get with the lower line aftermarket rear shocks. Revalving the stock is also alot cheaper than aftermarket, even if you use a different spring. Even a nice, used adjustable aftermarket shock is going to cost more than a revalve. So unless you have a good reason to want an aftermarket, i don't see why you wouldn't go with a rebuilt stock one.

I agree with LT2Fiddy. I bought a Works shock for my CBR600 street bike. What a rip-off! It didn't take long for the spring to sack-out. Not to mention the lack of adjustability. I had my stock rear shock on my LT rebuilt. Me likey....
