Repack Power Pros silencer?

Has anyone ever re-packed a Power Pros silencer? Sound has become a big issue up here in the North West. I am pretty sure I am ok but I figure a fresh pack is good for some insurance.

Anyway, I took the end cap off but I cannot figure out how to get the core out. Is there a trick?
