| how much packing does the shee T-5 pipes need ??? the cycle shop said a 11" by 16" piece would be enough for "BOTH" pipes......cut it in half and it seems awful loose in there.......I guess the piece is 11 by 8 inches...????? enough or more ????? |

Anyway, the old packing I pulled out of the pipes fit allot tigher than the packing I put in. Seemed pretty loose to me, but hey... it came directly from Toomey. It must be right! Pipes sounded fine when I got them all together. MAybe even a little quieter. So it turned out OK for me!
