Default 670 DLX newbie question

Hello everyone. Let me start by saying great site, glad to be part of it. I have a '99 670 DLX with the broken crankshaft option and wondered if this is a recognized problem from Bombardier or do they turn a blind eye? I've heard from people in my area that this is common but nobody mentioned anything about the factory stepping in on the repairs. Any comments?

Factories never step up to fix problems unless is is wide spread and everyone has the problem. You really have to talk to your dealer and they would be able to tell you if it is a recall. If not see if you can find the number for there local Rep and talk to them explain what happened and tell them you have an interview to discuss the issue with Snogoer in 20 minutes and you want to see if they would fix it first.

Great, thanks for the reply. Now I just have to find the rep for my area and see what they have to say. Does anyone know names of the Canadian reps in the Mississauga area?

Well, Bombardier didn't want to help so does anyone know where I can access an engine repair manual on the web? I just need the torque specs mostly. I have already disassembled the engine and am getting a new snub end pressed onto the crank.
