What other kind of information do you need I have alot of old papers, manuals, parts lists, etc. for 70s ski-doos. Let me look around a little bit maybe I can find the wiring diagram somewhere.

i think it is a fan cooled one, there is an impeller looking thing running off a belt coming from the crank shaft (i think). It is not electric start. as for wiring i have some wires that came cut off and i think they are for the lights, also there is 2 buttons, one is a kill switch, but im not sure what the other is. a useful piece of information i could use is the correct distance between the 2 wheels the drive belt goes on. thanks.

theres the wiring diagram for the fan cooled non electric start model. As for the pulley distance im pretty sure theres an alignment tool for it but im not totally sure. I have a manual out in my workshop but im not gonna journey out there tonight ill try to grab it tommorow. Why do you need the distances did you take the motor or the chaincase assy. off?

thanks for finding that for me. i need that measurement becuase im building a go kart and i already took the shit off the sled and threw the carcass out and i never took the measurement befor doing so. i already got the motor and chain case mounted, where i think is right, but i would like to check it with the real number so if it is out to lunch i can fix it. http://spaces.msn.com/bevstinkslikea.../?_c02_owner=1

The old chassis that i had was the victim of a redneck truck rally. Go on http://www.vintagesnowmobile.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl its the vintage snowmobile world forums. Post your question there and im pretty sure you can get an answer. If not i can find someone to get ahold of that has one that can probalby measure it.
