For the money they put into the civic they can buy an RX-7 Turbo for $15,000 and have way more motor than a civic would ever have. I want either an RX-7 for a Supra some day to restore and build up.

Anyways back to the sleds. Where do you guys race that thing? If it is close by the Northeast, list out some dates I would love to come watch that thing run. Is it only for ice racing? Do you guys grass drag it or does that kill the sled to fast. We have a pretty big Grass Drag in Fremont NH all the big ski-doo racers and such come to the races. It is getting pretty big last year they have the Sled Necks doing a stunt show with 2 ramps next year they are supposed to bring 6 ramps so it should be even better or a show.

yes we do some grass drags and ice... this summer we gonna be at Hay Days in minnesota i think. we race in ontario,quebec,New Brunswick and USA and yes is direct drive.

dont know how many G they are pulling but its fucking hard. weve alredy came in ontario this winter weve go to Sault Ste MArie World Drag Serie. this September we gonna be at Hay Days in Minnesota

good job Warneck thats impressive as hell IMO,i got a question for you... are the R1 based sleds competing in any of your class/classes? ,ever see a fast one ?????

I doubt it they cant turn rpms fast enough to get the clutches going like those do. I suppose it could be done with a hell of alot of motor work.

ya we race against the turbo in the open mod and heavy mod 1000cc. they have like 100-125 more hp than us .alot of people says may be next year is gonna have a new class for the turbo and i hope. they run like 4.20 sec and faster on 500ft and us 4.40-.30

easy fix there ,mount up a turbo on yours lol the 2 stroke willl aways make more power when all the bells and whistles are" laid out" on the table
