| I Do Give You Guys Credit For Building Those And Turning Those Kind Of Speeds And Times, Just Not My Piece Of Cake. Does It Take Alot To Keep Those Stable At High Speeds? Do You Guys Have Some Kind Of Class That You Race Those In Or Just Open? |

| My friends and I spent alot of time at a 1/4 mile strip in high school runnin stangs (everybody and their dog had one). Nothing with the kinda power you all are talkin about! My ? is why a 1/8 mile? Ive never understood why you would want a shorter strip. Where is the excitement and thrill come from when you have to shut it down early? Like I said NO experience with a 1/8 mile strip!!! To put it into perspective what would 1/4 times look like??? For the record ANYTHING with a triple 2S in it will bring a childish grin to my face, that is before I TRY to jump on it!!! Thanks aron

| thanks- if some one didn't think outside the box we all would still be living in caves and riding horses the cars are NHRA/IHRA certified and desinged to pretty much drive straight, occasionaly you need to correct them down track .There is no special class, classes are broke into how fast you go.and if you run electronic driver assistance devices, we chose to run no electronics, keeps the race in driver hands, the 1/8 mile track is 15 miles away but do occasionaly run 1/4 mile tracks times currently in1/4 mile are 10 sec we expect that # to drop considerably next year last year we took my sisters 500 cc dragster and ran it on dirt, at an ATV drag race, raced 300 ft. used old mini sprint front tires for back tires and ran 4.5 sec at 70 mph i was never out ran... the dirt video are at a ATV event and we were asked by the track owner to run on his oval so they could say they were 1st www.snowmobiledragsters.com Last edited by doug3170; 12-24-2005 at 12:40 PM. |

| id like to stick a snowmobile motor into something. but id probility make a go-kart with like a 500 twin 600 twin or tripple....or if id be able to just get some other motor for cheap like a kawi 340 or 440 motor. but this would have to have full suspension and other goodies. wouldnt be too good for draggin cuz it would probility be heavier than fuck.
