| The site is looking good Eric! I have done a few websites myself for various things and you guys are off to a good start! Some keys to a sucessful website that I have discovered over time are: Know your target audience and having information that they find useful and interesting, which you guys definately have in the snowmobile dragsters.. The website is easy to navigate and all of the pages load quickly (I am on a cable isp), which is great because nobody wants to spend 5 minutes trying to get to the information - so you have done a good job conveying your info. Uniformity and simplicity are also crucial and lot of people try and put so much shit on their webpages that it gets cluttered and bogs down the site becoming even more difficult for you as the webmaster to update.. ^^ Update, update and update - This is the hard part and the one in which most people who have a website fail in doing... It is very time consuming trying to keep new information on the webpage, hosting images and video etc.. Once you have a loyal base of regular visitors they will come to expect semi frequent updates etc.. Yea, you are basically entertaining other people with your hard work hehe.. Being a webmaster is an under appreciated job, especially when you are not getting paid for it! I guess it's the price you pay though.... Damn I did not mean to lay down a book, but I have seen your other posts on here and felt you deserve a good mans reply... Keep it up! |
