i have a 04' 500ss trail and i was wondering how i can get more more out of it i think its at like 103 or sumthing like that. i dont no much about sleds cuz im 15 but i no that sum one here has to no about them.

Pipe's Carbs, Igniton Upgrades, Probably due for a rebuild, while its apart send it out, get it ported, Shaved heads......Lots of stuff..

what can i do for igniton upgrades? and can the rev limiter be changed cuz red line is 8200 i want around 9300 if i could...

Cut The Pipe And Take Out The Baffles More Flow Sound Better Anyway

Rev limiter is built into the CDI. You'd notice more for around the same $$$ if you put some aftermarket reeds in. V-Force seems to be a favorite here. I've always been a Boyesen user. Don't forget to re-jet. After a few more bolt-on goodies then the cdi mod will make more sense IMO. Is the 103 compression psi, or is it mph? I'm going to buy a '75 TS250 tomorrow for $150 and it has 107psi.....The engine it almost toast, probably will barely run in another 10psi. And if your talking 103mph on a 500ss.......maybe nitro is what you seek?

500ss have 105 stock, but get a dynoport pipe and can or another aftermarket pipe and can, v force 3s, mill the heads, port it, maby bigger carbs, maby bore it out, and deffently get a racing clutch
