| hey, if i put a skidoo formula sl 500cc engine in an atv will it overheat? its fan cooled.

| It should be good, i just wouldnt lug it to much. Possibly you could keep the fan hooked up on a switch and turn it on if your on some tight technical trails.

| most fan cooled sled motors run off a belt on the motor, at least the ones i have seen, unless there free air...I think u would be ok if u fabed up some shrouds to direct air to the motor and try not to lug it around....But a liquid cooled motor would be a lot better....Nick |

| Ive seen fan cooled sleds overheat at 45 degrees and re-jetting it isnt goin to help, the motor needs cold air.
