| lets face it...none of us can ride like pros so the way i look at it, its all about quality of sled vs $$$ spent... sure u can blow 9-10k on a great new 800 or 1000 but you can also spend 2500-3k on a used 700 and it might be a hair slower or heavier but hey, you save 6-7 THOUSAND dollars |

| i ride a polaris xc600sp and a firecat f-6. both sleds i love but the geometry is different big time. i've also ridden a srx and a supersport. it matters cause the f-6 is more of the dirt bike feeling, the xc is more old man feel but i prefer the suspension and the srx is in the middle of both. as it goes for power they all keep up, the srx would always get the holeshot cause its a triple but in the higher speed the two other sleds would always catch up the supersport is a pig compared to the other three. best recommendation is try to test a few sleds out, and see what you prefer as it goes for gas just try to stay away from the big bores cause they aren't cranking out that much more power and its not worth. one word of advice is try to stay away from diamond drive, ac started in 2003 or 4 but the first few years it had a lot of bugs in them
