PSI pipes

any one ever run one these pipes?? I was looking at one for my 88 yamaha phazer, they are claiming 20 horsepower. how was fit, finish,sound, and performance?

my buddy ran some psi'd on his polaris triple.the fit was not perfect but didnt require to much work.i would believe evey word of the HP claims.they have done alot R&D and i feel they are a great man. of pipes.they really woke up his triple.bout 25mph and dig into the throttle it would put the ski's in the air real quick.

well that is good to hear! Im gonna try to score one off from ebay for my cheapo sled. between the pipe and the v-force 3 reeds it should wake this little 480 up.

I had psi pipes on my 98 v max 600 they had a nice rumble and gave it a noticable gain in the open for sure.

the aaen quiet can single pipe made the most horsepower on the phazer
about 81hp with a few other mods boost bottles actually work on phazers
too (ive never seen one work on anything else) and there is a piston mod
im not too sure on the specs but you basicly cut the intake side of the piston
to allow more broad intake port timing and the head can be cut .040 to
give you some more comp. and a tighter squish band after that throw a
really tight spring in the primary to get youre engagement to about 4,000
rpms then you will have one fast sled 80 hp is alot on that tiny chassis.
psi definitly has some awesome stuff but aeen put the most time into
this particular sled if you want go to dyno tech research they have an
article with dyno sheets on the phazer it is on thew non-subscribers
page too. some good info there for ya.

thanks for all the info man, I have since sold the sled! we got a big snow storm and a guy offered my $1000 for it, I only paid 400 for it so i had to let it go. I will pass the info on to him.

I have a ported 93 yamaha exciter 2. Its a 570 liquid with PSI pipes. This bastard runs like a major raped ape. Plus sounds KILLER!
