I was talking about the 440 motor that had shitty ports not the 245.

ohh i c, but with shitty ports i think your number is high for that 440 then cuz i think you said its in the 90's, i dont know iv never seen a dyno for them but it just sounds too high to me.

again i wasnt talking about that motor the 440 motor put out like 39hp stock i have one built up that puts out around 65 and im sure with really serious modifications like custom installed reeds and stuff thats gotta be custom fabricated you could get them into the 90s but its more work than its worth it would be worth a crap as far as dependablility goes.

ill cut you a little slack, but it sounded like you were infering that the pistons gave you higher compression. for that matter if the pistons were simply forged and hence stronger and intended for "higher compression" aplications one could argue that all wiseco forged pistons are "high compression" im still puzzled as to why you would need ports in the pistons though. if its a late 70's 250 blizzard liquid motor then it would be a rotary valve motor which already has a boost port fed from the cases. no need for any aditional ports in pistons i should think. the HP figures are optimistic but i will give you some credit if in fact it is a rotax blizzard motor they do make very good HP.

and what are these AAEN pipes from? i would not run AAEN pipes on a factory blizz motor. you need factory super mod pipes. or decker pipes built for the Blizz

The motor was sent to AAEN and they built the pipes for the setup. The stock pipes were rotted out quite a bit.

The pipes i got from the parts shop were AAEN pipe but they were for an old artic cat puma. I ended up sending out the motor and spending almost $1000 to get ones built specially for the motor. I thought i posted an update on it with something along those lines in there but whatever.
