I will be there with a couple of friends in a blue and silver ext cab ford pulling a flatbed and a maroon dodge ext cab pulling a fithwheel trailer... there will be a couple R's, a couple banshees, and a trx 450.... and a lot of beer, and hopefully some sand sluts

So I ended up going out on saturday instead of friday, but it ended up being the most miserable night of my life.... it was cold as FUCK, but the R seemed to really like it in the morning after the frost finally melted off everything. i took the digital camera, but it was so cold the batteries wouldn't seem to work so i said fuck it, on the pictures, it was to cold to take off the gloves anyways... We were going cheap so i didn't take the camp trailer just figured i would sleep in the bed of my truck with the shell on it, i figured for sure with two people in there we would be plenty warm, i was wrong..... it was so cold my sleeping bag had frost on it, and about 3 am i just about got out loaded up the bikes and left. about 4 am i brought my little BBQ grill into the back of the truck and lit that up. that helped slightly.... i am not going to say it wasn't worth it, because even a couple hours of riding out there is nicer than sitting at home, but damn, i just didn't sleep a wink and shivered the whole damn night.... that was rough for sure.

I camped in a tent last weekend at the oregon dunes.... A propane heater is a must for sure.... It wont get very warm, but it will stay dry inside and keep the frost off...

So did you manage to round up any sand sluts? They usually help to keep you warm....

the sand sluts bailed, i guess they realized that it would have just been to cold, the one says to me right before i left. I don't know whether to call you crazy, stupid or devoted.... i said i will take a little from colom A, B, and C.

even drinking a lot didn't seem to help that much, i hoped i could just drink enough to pass out for the night, that didn't seem to work.
