Spark Arrestor Screen Kits

I cant remeber what company had it where you could call them up and give them the diameter of your pipes and they would cut out some sparky screen and then give you sticks to make your silencers legal without much hassle. If I remember right it was only like $20. Anyone remember who it was and if they still do it?

what do you mean by sticks? you can buy fmf replacement screens and if you know your dimension and your end comes off you could probably make one work yourself

My bad that sticks is suppose to be stickers. Thing is with silver lake is they like to jam a stick in th exhaust which I can rig something up but they also look for a stamp or forestry sticker.

i have a screen from a z400 that goes in the end of an hmf pipe. if the end comes off the end of your pipe you may be able to slip it in and seal it back up. if yours comes apart and you think it will work you can have it. if you pay for shipping (couple bucks or so) ill send it to you

Anybody ever just buy screen at a hardware store and jam it in there?

I could jam just any screen in there but they are strict at Silver Lake and Im decided just to stick with my clamp ons so I dont have any problems or hold ups getting checked out before entering the dunes. one time i took the end off my silencer to repack it the day before we went to this place called the mounds but any way when i put the end cap back on i took a piece of screen from a window and sandwiched it between the core and end cap. it blew out after like a half hours worth of riding the best part was when the 70 year old man at the mounds asked if my quad had a spark arrestor then proceded to try and stick a piece of rubber tube up my silencer while it was still running blowing two stroke smoke in his face
