| What is the best suspension mods to do for MX and TT, such as swingarm, shocks, a arms, etc? I would like a suspension that I can switch in between the both as there is both types of tracks close to my home town.

| I bought an 86 250r set up for TT racing, I wanted to MX race. For TT you will need a -3 swingarm a + 4 axle, anti sway bar, +2 +1 a arms, TT tires, the shocks were revalved for TT, and the Rear actually had a shorter spring on it. Basically Low and wide, I had all the shocks rebuilt for mx took off the sway bar, put on a -1 swingarm or the factory length for the 88 - 89 swingarm, I had to change my pipes from a top end pipe to a more low to mid range pipe. I bought all new Holeshots all the way around. I hope this isn't too confusing. There are definatly some differences but it's not too far off, if you were pretty good and swaping parts you could race MX one day and TT the next |
