Lucas with gear oil

Would anyone tell me if they have ever mixed the Lucas Oil additive with their gear oil on a regular oil change. Is that suggested or would it just make it too thick?? Planning on doing a oil change and concidering the Lucas. Thanks.

I have generally heard additives are bad due to anti abrasives that cause clutch slippage. I would stick with some good Bel-Ray Gear Saver Oil and forget it ...
