Default Swing Arm Bolt Size Difference

Is thier a difference in the diameter of a swingarm bolt for an 85-86 and 87-92? The reason im asking is i bought one off ebay that was supposedly universal, but the damn thing has play in the bearings..My quad is an 86 and im wondering if the 87-92's have a skinnier bolt...any ideas?

Ok i checked and the part numbers are the same for the bolt on all model years...is there supposed to be some play inbetween the bolt and the bearings? I just put a brand new swing arm bearing kit on the quad..

the swingarm bolts are all the same. 85-92 lt250r and lt500r all use the same bolt. that bolt you have may be worn. if you take one of the spacers and slide it over the bolt there should be no play. but not so tight it won't go on but not so loose the spacer is sloppy.
