Default Running on alcohol

What jetting would I need to run alcohol in my 85 LT250R? Are there any other mods I would need to do? It's got a FMF Fatty pipe, Boyesen reeds, and a Power core silencer. Thanks in advance.

You dont just change your jetting you have to buy another carb, anyway I wouldnt waste your time. For one there isnt a good enough pipe available for the 85LT to support alky, nor is the porting.

Default Price of alky

I pay $2.00/gal here in Iowa. One thing to remember, you will use 2 to 2.5 times more alky than gas, but you won't believe the power.

A properly ported engine is a good idea, a proper head setup is necessary, a pipe with good scavenging, alky carb, high flow fuel delivery, and a ignition that will burn it all. Half assing it will lead to mininmal performance gains and or big problems. Some of these things are hard to damn near impossible to locate for certain bikes. Ignition being the most difficult.
