Building Bike Top Speeds?

I am Building a bike "lt250r" I have my parts and basicly it's an 87 frame with gusest welded in, newer swing and arms axel, with an 86 motor with dg exaust.
My question is what top speeds can this bike do? is it faster than most stock 4 strokes?
I will put pics of the build up in a couple weeks when i start paint and assembly, for anyone curious.

with just a dg exhaust most any new 4 stroke will be faster and accelrate much quicker ,expect around 30hp and a 65mph for top speed

most 4 stroke 450's will do 80...the 400's around 65..ur lt may do 65 like denny said

Thanks 4 the info mabey i'll do some engine work, does a bolt on air filter beter than using an air box

i had some really nice power gains by removing the airbox and putting in a kandn filter with a prefilter, just watch out for big puddles!!my 86 goes about 73-75 with my fmf pipe, closer to 80 with the drag pipe. there is some good power in the 86's but the newer lt's were a better over all design, plus 6 speed!

but then agin what do i kno i ride dirt bikes lol oh and i'm not putting down on quads cause their really fun i've never had a chance to ride a banshee tho but from what i hear they hual ass i have rode a blaster tho really fun wheelie machine.

what is up with everybody wanting to go mach-10 on a quad? Who rides a quad at its top speed all the time? Acceleration > Top Speed

where did you get this number from. all the new 450's are 5 speeds with close gear ratio trannys. my brothers yfz with stock gearing and tires maybe does 65-70 and its at the rev governer in 5th.
