I have a 1992 quadracer and I am trying to replace the seals on the water pump shaft. There is no bolt holding on propeller. Cannot get it apart. Does anyone have any suggestions?

There is no bolt that goes into the propeller, it is just a flat metal disk with a tiny 1/8" hole in it with no threads. That's the problem I am having. Suzuki keeps telling me there should be a bolt but there is none. They didn't know what to do either. Any more suggestions would be appreciated!!

I am going to try to attach a pic never attached one online before I hope it works. To my knowledge there doesn't look like a bolt was ever there. Shaft looks all one piece.

that picture is pretty blurry. so i can't really tell. looks like the washer is stuck to the impeller? have you tried prying up on the impeller a bit? not too much or you'll break it.

Aluminum and steel in contact equals rust weld. I had a bitch of a time once. I threaded the bolt in a bit and knocked the shaft out to remove the impeller. My bet is it is all rusted together do remove the washer find the threads and really either way you'll need to knock the shaft out anyway. Don't forget anti seize when you put it back together.
