| yeah.all you have to do is take the clutch cover off. right side of the quad. check to see if the counterbalance bolt is on.and make sure the gear is lined up with the crank shaft right.there are dots on the gears where it should line up. i sheared my key on the counterbalance once so it could be that

] Anyways, I just traded my lakota for a 92 lt250r. It vibrates quite a bit, and i'm pretty sure its the counterbalancer. But, how hard is it to check it? Is it on the right side [if sittin on it] and do you have to take the whole cover off? New gasket? Aye... yeah so if anyone can help, please do. lol
