Hey my lt is cutting out at high rpms. any ideas?

does it do it if you hold it at like 1/2 throttle?very well could be a rich main jet..what mods carb and jetting?

The only time that I have noticed this is when I'm running low on fuel. It starts cutting out and i kick it to reserve. I noticed that my pet cock sets just a lil weird when turned to reserve. I don't know if my petcock is messing up or what.

as far as mods go the motor is stock, with a pt pipe and 35mm air stryker carb.

on a side note... is it air stryker or striker? hmmm lol i've seen it both ways.

mine did that once....crank seal on the fly wheel side fell out..don't know how it came out but it did

i'm pushing right around 205psi... I picked up an extra 15psi from the last time i tested... Does any one have info on a dirty petcock? I'm still wondering if thats what could be giving me trouble.

Well at high RPMS my blaster would cut out on me didn't know what the hell was wrong i went through everything finally i took the bowl off the carb an put my fuel line on the carb an it just slowly came out, so i blew through where the gas hose connects on the carb an sure enough it was stopped up, it has sucked some stuff off the bottom of my tank when i ran my tank dry oneday, anyways check to see if your gettin a good gas flow into the bowl if not it could be the same prob i had, but clean your lines an make sure nothin it stopped up

if you think it is the petcock pull it apart . while it's apart I would mod the petcock anyway to flow more fuel anyway then you never have to worry about it again

my vote is crap in the carb. i ride in the dunes every week and if i dont clean out the carb then it cuts out at high rpms. i reccomend going through the carb and givin it a good cleaning. only takes about an hour...your lt will thank you haha. unscrew each jet and soak em. my carb is so clean that you could lick it...bike runs like a champ.
