coolant leakage seep hole water pump

I just rebuilt the top works of my 91 lt 250r. I just fired it up last night and started great, but it is seeping coolant out a weep hole in the bottom of the water pump and am wondering if anyone else has come accross this ? any help would be appreciated

Common problem with suzukis....250 and 500. You need to rebuild the water pump. If you can shell out the cash to replace all of it, it won't happen again for a while. Mechanical seal, oil seal, impeller shaft. probably right about 100 bucks or so to do it right

mine is doing the same thing, its not leaking much at all, but still leaking.
