Question whats the gear

ok im thinking of buying a lt250r from a guy theres one problem with the bike and theres no book to tell what it is on the clutch side theres a bunch of gears and one of them came loose and chipped the block its the gear thats above the clutch looks like a balancer or something he only wants 400.00 for the bike and it does run but the plasticks in bad shape as is the seat its got brand new tires on it but i need to know what the gear is and how its held on kinda looks like a cam or somethinghelp would b greatly appreciated thanx Ray

you can get the bottom ends really cheap on ebay. but i only paid 500 for mine in great condition, except for bad clutch and rings

look in the manual man, there availible for download here on this site in the manuals section. Either that or take pics and show us.

sounds like its the counter balancer. that runs through to the magneto side and goes through the center of your cases.

define what you mean by "it chipped the block"
