how can u tell the oil level ????

i just got this thing ...how do you tell how much oil you have in the case?
theres no dipstick??? maybe im the dipstick?

There is a marking on the engine by the filler cap and it tells you how much to put in. I think its 1000ml. but you need to look to make sure.

there should be a little glass window on the case? serious, thats how my kx is, and Ive figure out that the oil level should be like half of the window if the bike is on level ground.

Its not a Suzuki. The only window it has is a power valve window. You dont want that to fill up. If it does you have a big problem.

Certainly wouldnt be the first time Im wrong.... but is the only way I can tell on my kx. Maybe that explains my oily shifter...lol

most kawasakis have a little window, my buddies does, im not much of a LT expert but is there a oil check bolt?, a bolt u take off and sum oil shud barely come out meaning ur oil level is fine, its looks alot different from the rest of the bolts

85-86 lt250r had bolt to check oil level. 87-92 no way to to check the level. drain and fill.

drain and fill bro...the guy who owned my lt250 before me bought an aftermarket cover with a check window. makes life great and looks cool too. just a thought.

I thought at least the 87's had the check bolt also???
I know quadzillas have the check bolt also....
