Default Carb help

Im getting close to finishing my lt250r project and i filled it up and went to see if it would kick over and the carb started to leak gas out of the bottom of the carb. not sure what that means and if i need a new one. anything that could help would be nice. thanks

is the gas leaking from a little hose?

no its leaking from the bottom of the carb. its looks like the carb is holding some gas in it and where it does that its leaking. do i just need a new seal or do i have to have it rebuilt

the gasket on your bowl might just be bad then... is it leaking from where the bowl screws onto the carb?
unscrew the bowl from the bottom of the carb, and see if its the gasket is bad, if its just a gasket or the gasket wasnt installed right then thats no big deal at all
