yes they have a different (larger) intake being the noticable difference.and i think little different port layout.so you no longer want the one on ebay you are bidding on???

no this is an arhuement between two shops. will the 87 bolt onto an 88? i was looking at the two and i dont see a differance. but it does call for a differant pisotn and reeds. so i didnt wanna say for sure.

then why are the pistons differant.

you know on second thought i dont want to sell you a cyl you dont want to to go through the bottom end and fix it right and you have posted the crank is locking up somewhere on here your just going to trash a top end and i dont want to be the bad guy that sold you the top end that failed from debris or air leaks that is beyond my control

i never said i dont want to do the bottom end. i asked if it was hard to do, or to have a shop do it. if you look t the suzuki service manual, it has 85-86 motor, then 87-92. it never once mentions there differant. and i just bought this manual, its the clymer m380-2. quads are new to me. so dont say i said i dont want to do the bottom end, i never said i didnt, i said i decided im not going to. as in me do it, im having a shop do it because it looks a little over my head.
