thats going to wrong way for better geometry the best setup you want the center of the wheel in the center line of the ball joints offset wheels will make it hard to steer & handle if your wanting it wider get longer a arms

I got into this argument with all of the British Empire. A-arms are, I admit better. But I'm not much on the ratio of function to cost. Spacers- $20 for something 20% better. A-Arms- close to $1000 for a 50% improvement. You are definetly getting something better with the A-arms, but at like 50 times the price to get something twice as good. We would be putting the wrong message out to the business owners of the world. We are willing to pay 50 times for twice as good. Please take advantage of me!! I just wanted to go about 1 1/2" per side. I widended my warrior 5" with those crazy individual spacers and it worked really well. I was truly surprised. Everyone who drove it said the same thing. It was a little softer but they all said it was definitely better!! Maxed out the preload compared to the softest setting that I usually drove on and it was almost the same stiffness, but with the ability to turn on a dime! I drove the Warrior hard for a whole summer, never had to change any bushings ect...It was still tight when I sold it. I think the A-arm companies try to create "urban legends" for the wheel spacer competition! Don't get me wrong A-arms are better, but from the pricing of products I think the A-arm companies know that we know this and through hype and marketing we are buying into it at at least a 250% markup of what we should be paying if we resisted a little! With the machinery that exists today there is not much more energy used if any to make A-arms compared to some spacers. I would suspect that each company has an employee pushing buttons on each of their machines using the same amount of energy and man hours to produce. So why should a better idea cost more? I would think it is greed and we are giving into it.

I guess you just looking for someone to tell you to do it pat you on the back so do it ! and shut up ! why did you even ask ? i guess you didnt want to learn about geometry and bump steer how how offset & camber affects this

Spacers= $20 broken wrist Stock= Best bang for the buck... Aftermarket= If you need it... its worth every penny... I dont know about your LT... But mine has plenty of bar rip stock...

LOL Maybe after all the A-arm guys quiet down a little, and give some room for the english speaking and comprehending community to answer the actual question of spacers vs rim flipping. Let's compare apples and oranges, instead of a fair comparison like the one that I set up. Obviously A-arms are better! Breaking wrists from failing spacers would be the perfect overlooked advantage for rim flipping. I figure the overall geometry would be similar to the spacers but still a little better, and would suspect the load at the area of contact would be more spread out and safer with a flipped rim compared to a spacer or crazier yet individual spacers for each stud. Hey GH, by all means don't let my bleek outlook on the business world stop you from telling others of the info that you have about the geometric physics of suspension. Knowledge should be a good thing. I wish I had more, especially to understand and communicate with people better! I appologize if my comment was Mr.Know.It.All'ish, cause I will easily admit the opposite is true! I vote for rim flipping over wheel spacers.

| neither spacers or rim flipping are a good option, and besides having two valve stems per wheel sounds like a good way to get flats all the time, for 20$ if your so inclined, just buy the spacers

First off spacers are not 20% better than stock,it will make bump steer way worse, and it also puts more leverage against your tie rods and wheel bearings.I would say front wheel spacers would make your handling 10% worse. And what the hell kind of a arms cost 1000 bucks for an lt250r? My used laegers were 200 bucks on ebay! burgards are 450 brand new!Putting spacers on the front of a quad for performance,Is like putting a tall spoiler on a chevy cavalier for performance.

My sand wheels are +1" wider than my dirt wheels and they steer like s**t... I have been using my dirt tires on sand just because the bump-steer was so bad... Unless you ride on perfectly flat ground with no jumps, rocks, ruts, or bumps... I would avoid spacers....
