Default 86 lt250r power?

i have a 86 and i put full fmf on it. does anybody no how much horses the bike has stock and how much i will gain with the exaust.

i don't know how much you will gain, but the FMF is good pipe for the 85-86 LTs. ride it.

Dont really know, but my guess is about 36 stock, with the fmf about 39-40 but also a lot better powerband which imo is more important.

i would guess 25 stock ...maybe 29 /31 after a fmf pipe ,thats rear wheel horses

I milled, port-polished and bored mine before I put the FMF fatty torque on it, so it was a huge difference when I installed mine. Gained a lot of usable low end torque makes for less shifting and top end was improved also. Ive had problems in the past over-reving and breaking the counterballance shaft so I opted for the snappy low end.

well mine is bored over 1.50mm i dont know how much of a difference tha will make?

one bigger gain is to put a 38mm carb. on it also.

I do believe that I have read that its 28 Hp stock & With the FMF your looking around 30Hp if your lucky. Keep on adding more stuff, youll get that number higher.

haha, oh i guess i shot a little too high. it must be that quadracer bias where i give it an extra 20% in all the right categories. Those numbers seem much more realistic

I am currently in the process of getting a 38mm carb on it. We'll see but ive heard thats the kicker for this bike.
