 Hard starting lt250.. sometimes... I hav a 1988 lt250r... it is hard starting sometimes... it will leave a small puddle of gas under it if I do not shut my gas off over nite... I try 2 start it and I can kick 4ever.. now if I turn the gas off and then come out.. it will start right up... is that the floats being set 2 high or the needle and seat leaking?? also... anyone have a used pipe 4 sale??      |

| Check your floats sounds like they are either set too high or maybe even stuck

| aight.. I will take it apart and see whats up... it runs fine.. just hard startin.. also what do ya mix your gas at?? what ratio?? |

| If its a stock carb, they are known for leaking. ^^^^Like stated above it sounds like your floats are too high. Just remember to turn your gas off next time. It sounds like the carb is flooding the engine when the gas is on. Just leave it off till you want to ride.
