 86 lt350r whats up?, just got a 86 for 200.00, stripped it all down an sending the frame out to get welded(for better supprot) an powdered, any tips on spots to weld an reinforce? any good part sited? im lookin at getting a new motor(will any other year fit) an new everything else... so ur ideas would be great thanks chris      |

 Gusset all the joints on the frame.... There are alot of good vendors here, other than that rocky mountain and ebay... 85 is a direct swap with the 86 other than that you are going to have to mod the frame... Any other questions you have someone on here will be able to answer tons of good info WELCOME!!!

| you will have to cut the center bar off a little past half way up, thats the bar that runs directly infront of the cylinder. you will have to turn it into a wishbone to fit around the exaust. the 85-86 exaust come out of the side of the head the 87-up come out of the center and the bar on 85-86 is in the way. i just put the wish bone on mine because i am putting a blasty in there. |

| Unless your going to put a zilla engine in there, I would stick to the same engine. Some weak areas on the frame are around where the front shocks bolt to the frame, & also where the footpegs are bolted to the frame. There is still plenty you can do tto that engine, Good luck on the rebuild...Ask any questions...
