| all right got the bike running strong on topend, and idles well. but after a good ride. ill stop and when i let it idle down, it idles kinda irradict, then after bout 5-10 seconds it smoothes out and idles fine. Now would this be the pilot or main jet leaning out, or is this normal? Thanks guys

| Exactly.... It sounds like after you have returned to idle, it still has to burn extra fuel that has been in the crankcase. I would try one down on the main and/or one up on the pilot...

| My stock carb used to do that all the time, and i never really figured it out because it still ran pretty well when it wasn't having to idle. It was also kinda hard to start, I learned the method of choke on with no throttle and it would usually start. If you do anything, I would try what LT racer suggested. Once I put on my properly jetted Keihin it runs perfect, idles smooth, and starts easy.

| no lean spots dont worry this go down on the main one size mine does it becouse i run a br9eix plugs not a br8es plug so it runs colder
