| There are a few that will fit, but nothing that is a great match.... I do believe that the 400ex front hare a close match, but they are a bit taller, so the fron end is higher. I would save you r money & get aq set of aftermarket fronts cheap from works. Use the SEARCH option to search previous thread like this one.

| I tried a set of 400ex shocks and they make the front end way to high and the steering geometry changes drasticly.Your best bet would be to get a set of works or elka shocks for it.They are expensive but will be the best investment as far as direct bolt ons go................................

| The WORKS are going to be your best option at around $350 for a pair of dual rate with out rezzys & about $650 with rezzys. ELKAS are going to be a better shock but plan on spending almost twice as much as the WORKS...

| well! warrior shocks a 1/4" shorter then a banshee... i bought some warrior works front shocks off ebay, in nice shape for 200 bucks.... cleaned them up, and slappeed them on.. they work great... you cant tell the difference between my buddy's bike and mine... he spent 6 hundo on new shocks from works..... i hear the yfz ones work good..... do you have nything done to your front end? like bigger a arms or anything? cause i hear the yfz's sit a smig high, and widder a arms would proly counter that? |

| oh yea... the ones i bought, were dual rate with rezzies..... love them!!!!!!!! |

| Sounds like a good deal, The only think I would be worried about Is that they are made for a heavier machine & not valved to your weight & riding style. Post some pisctures...

| definitely DO NOT get the 250r/400ex front shocks. like others said, they make the front end sit up WAY to high, i am putting works on mine because the previous owner had 250r shocks on it.

| i actualy got that all figured out too... cant remember the exact numbers, but the warrior weighed 25 pounds more then the shee, but the previous rider was 25 pounds lighter then me! so my current shocks, are valved perfectly for my weight! thats actualy a good tip, sorry i forgot to mention! if you are going used, remember! aftermarket shocks are often set up and valved for a riders size and weight, this can drasticaly effect your bikes performnance! |
